Hi, I’m Petar and this is my personal blog where I will write about my experience in entrepreneurship. Of course, there will also be other subjects I’m interested in. I would like to connect with other entrepreneurs all around the world, learn from them and share my knowledge.
Now…?

A jack-of-all-trades. I mitigate my flaws by surrounding myself with best people.
I love Entrepreneurship and it constitutes me as a person. Outside business, my other love are sports and I have been an active athlete for about 18 years.

Somewhere back in time… (Oh, I don’t mean Iron Maiden album 🙂 )
My occupation during high school was sport and reading books. My opinion is that sport has given me a lot, from discipline to challenging myself.
My life started when I became a student of Economics. First year of faculty was time when I realized that we are the creators of our destiny and life. I was really disappointed with the education that is offered at the faculty and it wasn’t fulfilling my needs. The second year of faculty completely changed my life, I believe, as well as defined the path I’m taking.
In May of 2008. Croatian students protested against the government (the reason was student rights). In my hometown, Split, the place where I was studying and where I live, everything indicated that the students of the University of Split (24 000 students) will stay at their caves taking no action! All I was thinking in those moments was, “what a fu*k? Really, we wouldn’t do anything for ourselves?!“.
And the story began there (look at the picture on the right, I’m the one in the middle)… 🙂
This was also a breaking point when me and other students who organised that protest decided to start a student organisation called Student for student (S4S).
In this period of my life, I have been interested in Political Economy, Sociology and History. I’ve read a lot of books (publications) in this area such as “Is capitalism moral”, “The Good Society“, “The Shock Doctrine: The Rise of Disaster Capitalism” etc. As you can see, everything led me to Macroeconomics, and Politics, but things have changed when I realised that a great deal of energy was spent on things I really didn’t have an impact on. So, we (our organization) have decided to do projects where we will learn a lot of new things. It was an exciting time, our organization has a lot of projects and teams such as Marketing, IT, journalists, Project Management and Financial. Oh yeah, we are functioning like a small company! I have acquired a great experience in public relations. I have been presented in the media, newspapers, portals, guest appearances in TV shows, etc more than 70 times.
In 2011, while I was president, the organization has reached 700 members, making it the one of the largest and most respected student organizations in Croatia.
